Our love and sympathy extends to Debbie Hutchinson in the death of her father on Friday. His funeral is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 7, at 2:00 p.m, in Albuquerque, NM. The family has asked for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers. Our class is making a donation in memory of William Jenkins.
Luann had surgery on Saturday. At last report, she was doing well. Our class will be checking with Dale to see what we can do to help during her recovery.
Mason Dillard had an emergency appendectomy. He was resting at home on Sunday. Our prayers for a speedy recovery are extended to Mason (and his parents!).
Our class voted to pledge $200.00 to the Youth's project for water wells in Uganda.
The Lenten Noonday Recitals continue on March 14, 21, and 28. Concerts are in our Sanctuary on Wednesdays at Noon. A light lunch is served in the Gathering Area after the concerts.
Last Sunday, James continued his lessons on the ministry of Jesus. We covered Luke 6: 20 last week, and we will cover Luke 6: 27 - 42, next Sunday. Please read and prayerfully study the scripture for the lesson.
