A note from James regarding Sunday, November 16th:

 

Dear New Hope Friends,

I have just today come across a couple of provocative articles related to "Quality of Life" which, I believe, would be of tremendous interest to those in our current and coming life stages. 

 

On November 16^th  I would like to lead a discussion of two articles referenced in this posting.  I would like to remind you to take a half hour or so to read both articles.  I read the Connections piece first, then the article from The Atlantic, just because one led to the other.  I would recommend reversing that order.  I believe you will find something about yourself in The Atlantic article.  Please come ready to share your own experiences relative to your parents, and yourselves.  Barbara’s review of the article in Connections is also refreshing and provides some contrary food for thought.
