New Hopers Help

The Kids Against Hunger Mission Sunday was a huge success and the goal for the church to pack 15,000 bags was exceeded!  Click <here> to enjoy more pictures Carol took of those in our class packing bags for the hungry.  The shower caps give everyone a great new look!!

Joseph Nader has sent a request from the UTA Wesley for us to recognize the National Collegiate Day of Prayer on February 26 (Thursday).  All the information and special prayer requests can be found on the UTA Wesley site <here>.  Let us all pause to pray for the ministry of our church to college students!

On Sunday, James Richard brought us a lesson on James, chapter 4.  His illustration (James 4:6 and 4:5) of how we are double minded appears above.  We will continue the study next Sunday.

• March 26 - New Hopers are serving a meal at Samaritan House (details to come)
• May 3 - Church Picnic (details to come)
• September 25 - 26 - New Hope Retreat at Prothero Center (A deposit of $25/person is needed if you plan to attend.  Please give your deposit $$ to Emily.)

We are thankful that Judy Stacy is feeling better!  I hope everyone has found warmth and safety in the cold weather this week, and look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!
