New Hopers Work at Habitat for Humanity

Please click on the "page tabs" at the top of this BlogSpot to view pictures of our classmates working at Glen Lake Camp and Habitat for Humanity.  Thank you to the many volunteers who have given their time and talent to these worthy causes!  (And thank you to Carol Proctor for the pictures.)

Our class will be serving a meal at the Samaritan House on Thursday, October 24th from 4-6 p.m.  More details about the project this Sunday.

The Aldersgate Choir Luncheon is Sunday, November 10th. (For more information, you may read an earlier post about the Aldersgate Choir.)

We will continue The Story.  Please read chapter 4 of The Story and study Session 4, "Deliverance".

One of the statements made in the study guide caught my attention: "If we love God and align our lives to his Upper Story purposes, everything in our lives - the ups and downs, the mountaintops and the valleys, the highs and the hurts, the raises and the rejections, the good and bad - is all working together to accomplish his will."

May we all live this week loving God and aligning our lives to his Upper Story purposes.
