New Hopers in Service

Snack Sack packers enjoyed fellowship while serving. Thank you to all our members who took an evening to help with snack sacks. We have about 25 students at my school (Tanglewood Elementary) who run to the counselor's office on Thursday to pick up a snack sack for the weekend and love them!

Kathy made an announcement in New Hope about starting the Student Prayer Partners at Arborlawn.
if you are interested, please send your information to Mary Johnson: jwjohnson1@sbcglobal.net
Mary will be coordinating this project. I've attached a form to the class email that you can fill out and return to church office, or email to Mary.

James started lessons about a book he is reading and reviewing for us: Everything Belongs by Richard Rohr, a Franciscan priest.  This popular and bestselling book of the renowned Franciscan
challenges people to move beyond the comfort of a settled life toward an understanding of themselves that is rooted in their connection to God. Only when they rest in God can they find the
certainty and the freedom to become all that they can be. Contemplation has its place at the heart of Christianity, a place that allows people to experience how “everything belongs.”

I have also added information to the class email about Golf Fellowship.  The proposed first tee time is this week, May 1st or May 3rd.

Join us in the study as we read together to find out how "everything belongs."

See you Sunday!
